Aquaculture and Aquarium Science Undergraduate Certificate

There is a large and growing interest in the topics of Aquaculture and Aquarium Science (AQS). These overlapping areas within the blue economy are diverse; have grown significantly over the past half century yet still retain tremendous potential for future expansion. Aquaculture now supplies over 50% of the seafood consumed globally, and Aquarium Science remains a valued area of interest as suggested by the growing international trade in ornamental species, the performance and expansion of public and private aquaria, and the use of aquatic organisms as biomedical research models.
